A Fractional CFO typically steps into your company as a part-time finance executive, running the finance function day to day. CFO Advisory is related — but different: structured guidance that helps you understand what's really driving your numbers, and a clear set of priorities for what to do about it. Common questions

Is this the same as hiring a fractional CFO?

It's related, but different. A Fractional CFO usually becomes a part-time member of your team, running the finance function. CFO Advisory is a structured outside perspective — helping you interpret the numbers and decide what to do next, without taking over day-to-day finance operations.

Do you replace my bookkeeper, controller, or CPA?

No. We complement your existing team. They produce and maintain your financial information; we help you interpret it and use it to make better business decisions.

What if my financials aren't clean yet?

That's a common starting point, not a disqualifier. We'll tell you plainly what needs to be fixed first, and by whom, before advisory work can be most useful.

A CPA who's sat in the CFO chair.

Gary Campbell is a CPA with more than 25 years of experience partnering directly with owners, CEOs, and leadership teams across small, mid-sized, and public companies. His background spans CFO roles — including a publicly traded company — controllership, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow management, internal controls, and SEC reporting coordination. He founded Clarity Strategic Advisors to bring that same level of financial leadership to privately held businesses that need it, without requiring a full-time hire.
